I love this new radio / head unit. It's more than a radio...it's the control center for your truck. I had several things that I was looking for in a "radio" and I tried a different product first. It did not meet all of my needs, but this one from Eonon absolutely does.This unit is basically an Android tablet for your cab. You are able to install any APK / Android app, so customization is up to you. If you choose to use out of the box, no problem; however for users like me, I needed more....and this delivers. I wanted the following, and it checks the box. Nice screen...easy to read, as good or better sound, radio, wireless Car Play, Youtube, USB for power, AV inputs (RCA...better would have been HDMI), simplified installation, & years of experience for quality.Other than HDMI, this GMX6S2 has it all. I was a little concerned in the screen size, as my first attempt was using a 10.1" screen...and it was beautiful. After putting in this 8"....I feel it is better as it is flush and looks like it belongs in the dash. The other unit I tested may have been bigger and nice, but it did stick out a bit and it may have advertised to potential "bad guys" to break in. For fun, I also connected a HDMI to AV (RCA) converter behind the dash, and ran a USB/HDMI plug to the front dash face. I did this to allow for something like a mini NES to connect and allow for playing (when sitting in a parking lot and bored ;) )Overall - I don't think that you can find a better unit for the 2007-2013 GMC Sierra (Silverado).
